🕺🏻🚨 [SHOW MUST GO ON]🚨 🕺🏻

Dear all,
Following the latest announcements, it is with great sadness that we are obliged to cancel the performance of TIMELESSNESS on the 4th of November as well as all other activities related to this concert: educational concerts, open rehearsals, visits of the instrumentarium.
We had worked hard and were happy and proud to present this show to you. We will therefore keep it on the back burner, hoping to play it again as soon as the situation has settled down and it will be possible again.
Of course, you can get your place back. We will contact you as soon as possible to give you the details.
This sad period should not make us forget the importance of culture as a factor of social bonding, open-mindedness and tolerance. It is obviously essential that it survives this crisis. For our part, we will continue to (tele)work to find you with beautiful projects of meetings, sharing and discoveries.
💚 Let’s stay connected through our website, newsletters and networks, through which we will communicate in the coming weeks at venir💚.
In the meantime, protect yourself and others!

TIMELESSNESS at the Hautepierre Theater – 04th of November

For their next concert at the Théâtre de Hautepierre, the Percussions de Strasbourg will play Timelessness by Thierry de Mey, a composer in perpetual research and unbridled inventiveness.
With this transdisciplinary show for eight percussionists, Thierry de Mey plays as much on gesture as on sound for a great moment of instrumental choreography.

Guillaume Tion devotes a double page to the Percussions de Strasbourg in the journal Libération of September 29, 2020. Here are a few excerpts:

“The princes of this anti-show that alternate bouncing ball rubbing and mallet caressing on the golden discs are called the Percussions de Strasbourg, but everyone says the Percus, local, national and world fame”.

“No matter how you look at it, the catalog of the Percussions de Strasbourg, dedicatee of more than 350 works, is quite simply unique”.

“Musica and the Percus, now both rejuvenated, advance together on a path of radicalism”
