Les Percussions de Strasbourg take over the Cirque du Manège of Reims as part of the Les Flâneries Musicales festival. Three pieces will be presented during this 35th edition.
Pléiades is one of the most beautiful pieces written by Iannis Xenakis. The richness of the timbres, the freedom and coherence of the composition make this work a unique rhythmic adventure.
Centuries after their compositions, these sonatas (Trio Sonatas No. 3 BWV 527 and No. 6 BWV 530) continue to adapt to their time without losing their essence, and the presence of works from our own era reminds us that Jean Sebastian Bach is still very much with us today.
