Mexican Tour for Ghostland!

From 20 to 30 October, the Percussions de Strasbourg will be in Mexico to present Ghostland.
Immersive and spellbinding, Pierre Jodlowski’s latest creation plunges us into an area of indefinite boundaries. Composed for electronics and four percussionists from the famous Percussions de Strasbourg, the score also includes the play of lights and writing of the stage space.Extended by a large panoramic screen, the stage changes into an infinite space, a territory where shadows seem to come and play with the bodies.

MYOTIS V – Anthony Laguerre

Wednesday 12 October, 8.30pm – Un pavé dans le Jazz
For several years, Anthony Laguerre has been exploring a solo entitled Myotis. Much more than a musical composition, Myotis reveals itself as a research process which, through the energy of rock, pushes the limits of the drums to their ultimate limits. Today, he meets the Percussions de Strasbourg to pursue his approach and give it a new dimension. Together, they dream of a sound space that plays with the acoustics of each instrument, amplification and the inversion of energies.

Percustra’s collective work for all is back! Come and discover these places of experimentation from Tuesday 5th October with Hsin-Hsuan Wu for a first discovery workshop (no obligation)!
The objective: to experiment, discover, share and create together, in a group open to all and of course to beginners!
