Les Percussions de Strasbourg wish you a happy new year 2025! May this new year be filled with joy, discoveries and, of course, music. The ensemble is already looking forward to some great shows in Hong Kong, Berlin and Istanbul. Other international projects and musical exchanges are taking shape with Mozambique and the Netherlands. New cross-disciplinary creations are in the pipeline, including Nicole Genovèse’s disco musical Diskoteekki. A new recording is being prepared for release in September 2025, followed by a tour of Asia and America. In Strasbourg and Hautepierre,voutreach activities are continuing with our neighbours, including a special edition of Percustra: open-air karaoke! Wevcan’t wait to get on with 2025 and tell you all about our plans!

are on a colourful adventure with Franco-Finnish author
and director Nicole Genovese, a specialist in neo-absurd
humour and intello-tropical weirdness.
DISKOTEEKKI
disco musical comedy
In a Franco-fictional Helsinki, a small group of people cure
their Saturday night fever by playing lotto. The game is
hosted by Annikki, a sort of Madonna for the downtrodden,
whose steady tempo offers warmth and relief to the
players who have come here seeking a little comfort.
Diskoteekki, which means disco in Finnish, is a reflection
on enchantment in the form of a disco musical written for
the Percussions de Strasbourg.
